Frontman Rudi Protrudi got his start in hard rockers Springhead Motorshark and formed the influential DC punk act Tina Peel with organist Deb O'Nair, going on to the Fuzztones with bassist Michael Jay, drummer Ira Elliot and guitarist Elan Portnoy.
