Apples in Stereo - Velocity of Sound LP

For their fifth album, Velocity of Sound (2002), available February 16, 2018, The Apples in stereo cranked up the guitars and made what Robert Schneider proclaimed is their ode to The Ramones. This set of short tunes, most of which clock in at under three minutes, had Pitchfork saying, "if you've got a sweet tooth, Velocity of Sound does provide a few irresistible vending machine snacks."
