Formerly of the bright-burning, short-lived spiritual soul-jazz duo Yussef Kamaal, Williams (aka Henry Wu) has begun carving an even bigger space for himself in the electro-jazz realm. His sophomore full length for Black Focus Records is a great trip into electro-fusion jazz-funk. Atmospheric and driving all at the same time. I'm digging the shimmery disco funk of this track.
